With an urban-alpine feel, this attention grabbing hotel is nestled in the heart of the city with everything you want within walking distance. The focus on elegance and design, the luxurious interior provisions and the most friendly team of staff make this place a go-to. We stayed here for the weekend, it was our second time visiting and we will undoubtably look to return again.

Staying At The PENZ Hotel – A Superior Room.

During our time at the PENZ Hotel we were staying in the superior double room. The hotel has 84 superior rooms alongside deluxe rooms and their junior suites. We were more than comfortable in our little home for the weekend and the views out of the window were just perfect! Colourful houses and snowy mountain tops, what’s not to like?! We watched the sun rise over the alps in the morning, at night we were captivated as the mountain sides lit up with everyone settling into their homes ready for a cosy evening. With a little desk area I had the perfect work station to edit through each days photos and with everything you’d need in a bathroom, we were set for a great stay.

Full superior room amenities:
LCD TV with international satellite channels. Premium cotton-damask bed linin (hypoallergenic). Nespresso machine with free capsules. Breakfast service free of charge. Wifi free of charge. Individually regulated air conditioning and heating. Minibar. Bathtub. Hair-dryer. Discreet safe.

Staying At The PENZ Hotel – A Great Start To The Day.

Included in the superior room stay was a fantastic breakfast on the 5th floor. You can choose to sit in the restaurant or make your way out onto the terrace. In both areas you will get a beautiful view looking over the city of Innsbruck with the mountains standing proud in the background. The attention and service by the team running the breakfast is second to none. Before we’d even sat down we had a much needed coffee on it’s way and we then set about filling our plates.

Included in the extensive offering at breakfast was a variety of cereals, the freshest fruits, jams, fresh bread and pastries. You really feel like you are having the most indulgent meal and with the beautiful views you just can’t beat it! We ate on the 5th floor both mornings and looked forward to getting up and starting our day here. It’s not common for a hotel to offer such a variety, we especially liked it as we were able to construct a nice healthy, nutritious meal to fuel us up for our day ahead.

Staying At The PENZ Hotel – The 5th Floor Bar.

Not only did the PENZ Hotel offer the best way to start the day, it also has a great way to finish it up. The 5th floor bar. With the beautiful elongated bar and the comfy terrace seating we had the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day hiking in the mountains. The bar team were again very attentive and in no time at all we could hear the gentle rattle of the cocktail shaker as our drinks were being made.

The drinks menu is all encompassing and includes classics from all over the world. Alongside the regular favourites there are some new trendy creations that the bar team have experimented with and put together. No complaints as the cocktails we had didn’t last long! We sat on the terrace in comfy surroundings and we watched the sun go down over the city of Innsbruck. We couldn’t of ended the day in a more relaxing and enjoyable fashion.

The 5th floor bar:
Sunday – Thursday: 4pm – 1am. Friday & Saturday: 4pm – 2am.

Innsbruck is a city that I absolutely love but I can’t deny that it’s partly because on both occasions I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at the PENZ Hotel. Would I have different feelings if I stayed elsewhere? I don’t know but with the luxurious room, fantastic location, food and drink to die for I find myself eager to return. Have any of you visited the PENZ Hotel? If so let me know how your stay was, I’d love to hear about it!

Thankyou to the PENZ Hotel for hosting us during our trip to Innsbruck. We absolutely loved our stay. All opinions expressed are my own.
